Updated SR4 Errata
I’ve updated the Shadowrun, Fourth Edition Errata PDF to version 1.8, which is the version used in the two Catalyst Game Labs’ printings of Shadowrun, Fourth Edition: the fifth and sixth printings.

There is no link to the Arsenal Errata off of the main page, just if you check the Errata log, it’s kind of hidden.

Are there any plans to release an updated version of the Shadowrun 4th Edition PDF?

My limited edition first printing contains the following sentence on p.228 in the second paragraph under Virtual Reality:
“Simrigs (both worn and implanted) and cranial commlinks also contain sim modules.”
Some of the subsequent printings and/or PDF releases have featured a different version of this line, that omits cranial commlinks from the list. It’s been stated on Dumpshock that the developer’s intent is that cranial commlinks don’t get the sim module for free, and that a line from an earlier draft had accidentally slipped in.
Why has this change still not been identified in the errata? I know that I keep pestering about this issue whenever a new version of the errata comes out, but that’s only because it keeps getting left out.

There is a typo in the Shotgun errata –
“For medium spread, the damage code should be +0 DN,
+7 AP.”
should read
“For medium spread, the damage code should be +0 DV,
+7 AP.”
i.e., it should say “DV” instead of “DN”.

Got it. Printed & placed in my SR4 BBB. Thanks for this, Adam. :ok:

When can we purchase the PDF/Hardcover with this Errata included?

NightWatchman: The fifth and sixth printings include this errat — they’re identical, no changes in the sixth that aren’t in the fifth. The fifth printing has been available since early 2008.
We haven’t updated the PDF yet, as there are some sticky issues revolving around giving the updated copy to people who bought the FanPro PDF — we don’t have access to the FanPro customer data on DriveThruRPG, and WizKids has taken over selling all the PDFs that FanPro had released. We had hoped to reach resolution on these issues by now, but the WizKids closing situation has slowed them way down, and we don’t have an ETA on resolving them.

Can we have a Runner’s companion errata for points? I did a quick recalculation for Runner Companion metavariants. It is a quick redo based upon the points based on Runner Companion metavariants using the base points of metaypes with abilities.

Omenowl: Unless Peter has changed his mind since the last time we talked, the point costs in Runner’s Companion are all correct.

The Runners’ Companion metavariant BP costs are not intended to be linear mathematical additions of the Attribute and metagenetic benefits and drawbacks (nor are the BP costs for the basic racial options in the core book). They also reflect “intangible” pros and cons of each expression, such as the overall (demographic) rarity, exceptional social prejudice, etc. There will be BP errata to a couple of metavariant expressions and sentient races, but these will be minor.

Thanks for the response Peter,
Any chance for clarifications on gearhead and fame cost?
